In the 20th match of this season of CPL, the Trinbago Knight Riders team was against the Barbados Royals team. After losing the toss, the Knight Riders team got the first blow on the score of 20. After this, Nicholas Pooran was sent to bat and none of the bowlers of the opposition team had the answer to the speed with which he started scoring from here.

Nicholas Pooran played an unbeaten inning of 102 runs in 53 balls while playing till the end of the innings. From the other end, he got the support of Guptill and then Russell. Puran had completed his century in 51 balls in this match. It also included 5 fours along with 10 sixes. On the basis of this brilliant innings of Puran, the Knight Riders team was able to reach the score of 208 runs in 20 overs.

It was not an easy task for the Barbados Royals to achieve this target in front of the Knight Riders bowlers. Kyle Meyers definitely played an inning of 70 runs in 45 balls from the Royals team, but apart from this, other batsmen could not manage to spend much time on the pitch. The team of Barbados Royals could only manage to score 166 in 20 overs and had to face defeat in the match by 42 runs.

Puran is second in terms of scoring the most runs this season.
