Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied look somber as they step out without their wedding rings

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied appeared downcast while out with their two children in Paris amid speculation that they have separated.

The pair, who both ditched their wedding rings, looked tense as they walked their son Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, 6, to school Monday, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

Although they walked side by side, the couple seemingly exchanged only a few words during the awkward outing.

Both Portman, 42, and Millepied, 46, kept things causal for the stroll, with the “Black Swan” actress wearing blue shorts, a white and green graphic T-shirt and sneakers.

Although Portman went without her 4-carat Jamie Wolf-designed ring, she complemented the look with cat-eye sunglasses and a black purse.

Meanwhile, the dancer looked laidback in a white T-shirt and navy pants, which he accessorized with a blue bandana, dark sunglasses and a crossbody bag.

The couple have continued to put on a united front amid rumors that Millepied had an affair with a 25-year-old woman.

Last month, the twosome were spotted at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup final alongside their son, who sat in between his parents.

The outing came just two months after the “No Strings Attached” star was photographed crying while talking with her husband on a park bench.

The pair appeared to be having an intense conversation while their children played at the park, with Portman seemingly wiping a tear from her cheek at one point.

It marked the first time that the couple, who wed in 2012, had been seen together since the French dancer’s alleged affair with climate activist Camille Étienne made headlines.

French magazine Voici published images of Millepied and Étienne meeting up at his office and then leaving 10 minutes apart almost two hours later.

Portman had allegedly discovered their dalliance months prior, with sources telling Page Six that she and her husband were desperately trying to mend their broken marriage.

“They have not split and are trying to work things out. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family,” one insider said in June.

However, just a couple months later Us Weekly reported that the pair had separated after 11 years of marriage.

“After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs,” a source told the outlet in August.

Just one week before, Portman was spotted without her husband — and wedding ring — in Sydney on their wedding anniversary.
