Latest health updates of Mohammed Shami’s mother Anjum Ara

Mohammed Shami’s mother Anjum Ara: Just before the final match of the World Cup 2023 played on 19 November (Sunday), the health of Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami’s mother Anjum Ara had deteriorated. He was immediately taken to the local hospital of the village. After first aid, he was also taken to a hospital with better medical facilities. Now his health is fine.

Shami’s family lives in Sahaspur village of Amroha district in western Uttar Pradesh. It was here that his mother’s health deteriorated. Initially, after being shown to the local hospital of Sahaspur village, he was admitted to the hospital of nearby Joya city. However, he was discharged after some time. At present, she is resting at her home in Sahaspur village.

While giving her mother’s health update, Mohammed Shami’s sister Shabina Khatoon said that her mother Anjum Ara was having mild fever for two days. His fever increased from the morning itself on the day of the World Cup final. When his pain became unbearable, he was taken to the hospital. He was brought back home after taking medicines from the hospital in the afternoon itself. Now his health is better.

It was because of his 7 wickets in the semi-final match that Team India defeated New Zealand and made it to the finals. However, in the final match against Australia, Shami could take only one wicket.
