Abhishek Lodha and his family have decided to donate a major portion of their stake in Macrotech Developers to the Lodha Philanthropy Foundation. This money will be spent on various social programs.
Lodha family donated stake to Lodha Philanthropy Foundation
Tata Group is owned by Tata Trusts. Many trusts work within Tata Trusts, which keep working in the interest of the country through different social programs. After the passing away of Ratan Tata, its command has been given to his brother Noel Tata. Now the Lodha family has also taken a similar decision on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. Lodha Flinthropy Foundation is a non-profit organization. The market value of this stake of Lodha family is around Rs 20 thousand crore ($2.5 billion).

Lodha Philanthropy Foundation runs a program named Lodha Unnati to provide employment to women. Under this, efforts are made to develop the skills of women and provide them a suitable working environment by partnering with companies. Apart from this, Institute of Applied Mathematics is also run for mathematics research. Mentorship is provided to children under Lodha Genius Programme. Apart from this, it runs programs named Justice Gumanmal Lodha Scholars Programme, Lodha RMI Net Zero Accelerator, Chandresh Lodha Memorial Schools and Sitaben Shah Temples.
