Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, looked smitten as she and her new billionaire heir fiancé, Geoffrey Ogunlesi, stepped out in their first public sighting since getting engaged last week.
The jewelry designer, 47, and the music executive, 34, were spotted holding hands while going for a loved-up stroll in Santa Monica, Calif., on Wednesday.
Meyer held onto Ogunlesi while beaming, and he also appeared relaxed and happy during the outing.
The newly betrothed jeweler was dressed casually in a gray sundress with purple straps, sneakers and sunglasses.
She accessorized with a beaded handbag and sunglasses and pulled her hair back in a tight ballet bun.
Ogunlesi, meanwhile, wore a gray T-shirt, coordinating slacks and sneakers.
At times, he appeared to be preoccupied with his phone during their romantic walk.
Meyer announced last Saturday that Ogunlesi had popped the question by sharing photos from his surprise proposal.
“YES!!!” she captioned a picture of herself wearing a massive engagement ring on her left hand as her partner hugged her from behind.
In another snap, Meyer gave a close-up look at her ring, which featured a large emerald-shaped diamond flanked by two trapezoid baguette diamonds on a gold band.
The gemstone aficionado confirmed that Ogunlesi had planned the entire engagement and that she was caught off guard.
“It was alllll him! Total surprise,” she wrote to a fan in the comments section of her announcement.
Meyer has been romantically linked to Ogunlesi since last summer, and they made their red carpet debut in November 2023.
She was previously married to Maguire, 49, from 2007 to 2020, and they share two kids: daughter Ruby, 17, and son Otis, 15.
Geoffrey is the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi, a lawyer and investment banker who co-founded the private equity firm Global Infrastructure Partners.
Adebayo has a net worth of $1.7 billion, according to Forbes.
Following in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps, Geoffrey founded the entertainment and music management company the Ogunlesi Group, for which he serves as CEO.
The firm represents artists across all genres, including rapper Young Thug.
