IPS Success Story: Getting success in UPSC exam is the dream of every candidate. But this dream comes true only for some people. Today we are talking about such a woman IPS officer whose dream has come true. We are talking about IPS Amrita Duhan, a resident of Rohtak, Haryana. After being a doctor, she became IPS in the first attempt without taking any coaching.
Amrita did MD in Pathology after MBBS. After this she started working as Assistant Professor in BPS Medical College for Women. Then he got married and has a son too. There is also a reason behind Amrita becoming an IPS. Actually when his younger brother was selected for IPS. Since then she was inspired to appear in the UPSC exam and she was successful in it.

Amrita had planned well to give the Civil Services Examination. For this, she kept the weekend reserved for her son and she used to prepare for the exam during the rest of the week. Amrita’s hard work and dedication paid off in 2016 and she cracked the civil services exam in her first attempt without any coaching. Amrita was not used to physical activity. She was 33 when she started training at the National Police Academy. So he took overtime training and at the end of the training period was adjudged as Best Outdoor Probationer and Best All-rounder Probationer. Other women should also take inspiration from IPS Amrita and give wings to their dreams.
