Mitchell Starc IPL 2024: Australia’s legendary player Mitchell Starc is preparing to return to the Indian Premier League. Stark can participate in IPL auction 2024. According to a report, Stark has said that if a team buys him in the auction, he will definitely play in IPL 2024. If Stark makes a comeback, he will play in IPL for about 8 years. He is away from IPL since 2015.

According to a news from Cricinfo, Stark said, “It has been almost 8 years. I will definitely return next year. This will also help for the T20 World Cup. Playing in the IPL will be a good opportunity and after that participating in the T20 World Cup will be important. I think this is a good opportunity for me.

Stark has played 27 matches in the IPL so far. He has taken 34 wickets during this period. Stark’s best performance in this tournament has been taking 4 wickets for 20 runs. He made his debut in 2014 and last participated in 2015. Stark has been playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. But now he will make a comeback after 8 years. So it is possible that the team will change in the auction.

Significantly, Stark is included in the list of veteran fast bowlers of Australia. He has taken 73 wickets in 58 T20 International matches played so far. He has taken 333 wickets in 82 Test matches. Stark has taken four wickets 18 times in this format. He has also taken five wickets 14 times. Stark has played 110 ODIs. During this, 219 wickets have been taken. His best performance in ODIs has been taking 6 wickets for 28 runs. Stark has also had an effective performance in domestic matches. He has taken 295 wickets in List A and 509 wickets in First Class.
