Shubman Gill chat with Sachin Tendulkar: As the next superstar player of Indian cricket, Shubman Gill has started taking his steps forward. In the 16th season of IPL, Gill showed that feat with his bat, which even Rohit Sharma has not been able to do till now. After Virat Kohli, Gill has become the second Indian player to score the most centuries in a season. So far this season, 3 century innings have been seen with the bat of Shubman Gill.

For Shubman Gill, the year 2023 has proved to be the best year of his cricketing career so far. Gill had scored his first century in T20 International earlier this year. After this, Gill scored a double century in ODIs and also played a century in the Test format. Gill, 23, has continued his excellent form in this season of IPL as well.

First century came against Hyderabad and then Gill caught pace

Shubman Gill scored the first century of his IPL career in the match played against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 15 May. Gill’s bat saw another century in the next match, which came in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Now Gill scored his third century this season in the match against Mumbai. In the Qualifier 2 match, Gill played an excellent inning of 129 runs in just 60 balls. Gill has so far scored a total of 851 runs with his bat this season.
