Vinesh Phogat Viral Post: Vinesh Phogat created history on Tuesday, August 6 by becoming the first Indian female wrestler to reach the Olympic final. What have been the achievements of Vinesh Phogat so far?

Vinesh Phogat participated in the Rio Olympics for the first time in the year 2016. After this, she has also participated in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. She had to drop out of the Rio Olympics due to injury. At the same time, she reached the quarter-finals in Tokyo.

Vinesh Phogat has won three gold medals in Commonwealth Games, two bronze medals in World Championships and one gold medal in Asian Games. She has also won a bronze medal in World Championships in 2019 and Asian Championships in 2021.

Vinesh Phogat is the cousin of famous wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat. Vinesh's father died when she was 9 years old. She was raised by former wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Mahavir Phogat is her uncle and is the father of Geeta and Babita Phogat.
