Stock Market Closing On 27th March 2023: On the first day of the week, the Indian stock market closed in green. Although the market has closed below its high of the day. Today’s trading in the market saw profit booking in midcap stocks. At the end of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 57,653 with a gain of 127 points and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 16,985 points with a gain of 40 points.

In today’s trade, there has been a boom in the shares of Pharma, FMCG, Bank, IT, Healthcare sector. At the same time, the shares of consumer durables, energy, auto and oil and gas sectors have closed down. There has been a big decline in small cap and mid cap stocks. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 28 closed with gains while 22 closed with losses. While in the Sensex, 16 stocks closed up and 14 closed down.
