Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train : Good news is coming out for the devotees of Ram from the Railways. Indian Railways is going to start ‘Shri Ram-Janaki Yatra: Ayodhya to Janakpur in Nepal’ for Ram devotees from Delhi on 17 February 2023. Through this train, you can travel to many pilgrimage places falling between Ayodhya to Janakpur. Know how much fare you will have to pay to the Railways for this 7-day journey.

On the lines of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’, ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourism Train’ has been started on the initiative of the Central Government (Modi Govt) to promote domestic tourism in the country. In this package, the fare of the respective class of the train has been fixed for the journey of 7 days. For this you will have to pay a rent of Rs 39,775 per person. It also includes train travel, night stay in AC hotels, vegetarian food and to and fro buses, sightseeing, insurance and guide facility.
Cultural relations will get a boost
Railways is now going to connect Ayodhya located in India and Janakpur pilgrimage sites in Nepal. The ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train’ is going to run on the railway route between these two places from next month. This step of the Railways will greatly strengthen the bilateral relations between India and Nepal and promote cultural relations between the two countries. The tourist train will pass through Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Kashi and Prayagraj. Arrangements will be made for the passengers to stay for two nights in the hotels of Janakpur and Varanasi.

During the journey in the train, these places can be visited during the stoppage of the train at Ayodhya, Sitamarhi and Prayagraj. The features of the state-of-the-art deluxe AC tourist train include two luxurious restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cabins, sensor-based toilets and a variety of equipment for foot massages.

Railways has informed that, “The first stop of the proposed 7-day Bharat Gaurav tourist train journey is Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, where tourists will visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanuman Temple, besides the Bharat Mandir in Nandigram.” Train after Ayodhya. Bihar’s Sitamarhi railway station will go and tourists will further go to Janakpur in Nepal by buses which is 70 km away from Sitamarhi railway station.
