Shark Tank India Season 2: Business reality show Shark Tank India is becoming popular for startup idea and funding in it. An episode of this is in discussion these days about two players of the Indian cricket team, KL Rahul and Ravichandran Ashwini. In this, KL Rahul’s brother had arrived with a business idea. He shared his business idea in the second season of the show Shork Tank and sought funding.
KL Rahul’s cousin Prateek Palnetra and his partner Vishwanath reached Shark Tank India to collect funding for the bowling machine brand Free Bowler. He claimed that his is the only company which is providing bowling machine at low cost. For this brand, he demanded Rs 75 lakh for 7.5 per cent equity.
The shark didn’t like the business idea
After explaining his business idea, the shark did not see much interest in this business. Most of the sharks have distanced themselves from this business idea. However, Namita Thapar asked them to pay Rs 25 lakh for 15 per cent equity. Also offered a loan of Rs 50 lakh at 5%. After this a counter offer was also presented on their behalf, but due to no other option, they accepted Namita Thapar’s offer.
What is the connection with Ravichandran Ashwin
While sharing his business idea, Prateek told that he is the cousin of Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Ravichandran Ashwin is the ambassador of his brand. They told that their business is running in loss for some time. In such a situation, most of the sharks shied away from it.
