Reaction of cricketers on train accident: A horrific train accident took place in Balasore, Odisha on Friday evening. So far 261 people have lost their lives in this accident. Actually, three trains – Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express and a goods train were involved in this accident. The incident took place when the passenger train Coromandel Shalimar Express derailed and collided with the goods train and some of its coaches also collided with the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express.

However, many cricketers including Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma expressed their condolences on the train accident. Apart from Rohit Sharma, many veterans including Mithali Raj, Yusuf Pathan, Amit Mishra, Anil Kumble have expressed grief over the accident.

The death toll may rise…
According to the Railways, till the time of writing the news, more than 600 people have been confirmed injured. While the number of passengers who lost their lives in the accident has reached 261. At the same time, there is a possibility that the death toll may increase. Significantly, this horrific accident took place on Friday evening at around 7 pm. The Coromandel Shalimar Express derailed and collided with a goods train. Actually, Coromandel Shalimar Express was going to Chennai. After this accident, many coaches of the train overturned.
