India Vs Australia Indore Test: The third match of the four-Test series between India and Australia is going to start in Indore from Wednesday. Team India has retained its hold on the Border-Gavaskar series by taking a 2-0 lead in the series. However, India has a chance to win this match and secure a place in the final of the ICC World Test Championship. Looking at the important match, captain Rohit Sharma can make a change in the playing 11.
Even though India has maintained a 2-0 lead in this series. But in both the matches, except Rohit Sharma, the top order batsmen have failed miserably. KL Rahul is the biggest target in this series. Now it is impossible for Rahul to save his place in the team. Informer Shubman Gill is likely to get a chance in place of Rahul. Gill has also practiced fiercely under the supervision of coach Rahul Dravid on Monday.
There is no chance of any change in the middle order. Pujara, Kohli and Iyer will be responsible for strengthening the middle order. Ravindra Jadeja, who is running in excellent form at number 6, will be seen batting. Despite not showing anything amazing with the bat in the first two Tests, KS Bharat is certain to get a chance in this match as well. Bharat will be seen batting at number 7.
Team India is not going to make any changes even in the bowling department. R Ashwin and Akshar Patel are not only bowling brilliantly, but have also made significant contributions with the bat in the first two Tests, helping the team win. On the other hand, Shami and Siraj have given the necessary success to the team on many occasions even on pitches which are helpful for the spinners.
India Playing 11: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, KS Bharat (wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, Akshar Patel, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj.
