India vs Off: In the Test match being played between India and Australia in Indore, Team India got trapped in its own web. In this match being played at Holkar Stadium in Indore, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. Australian captain Steve Smith initially handed the ball to fast bowlers Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green. Here the Indian batsmen started scoring runs against the fast bowlers. Half the team returned to the pavilion on 45 runs
Rohit Sharma (12) and Shubman Gill (21), who shared a 27-run partnership for the first wicket, were sent to the pavilion by Matthew Kuhneman in back to back overs. After this, Nathan Lyon also wreaked havoc and did not give Cheteshwar Pujara (1) and Ravindra Jadeja (4) a chance to survive. In the 12th over of the match itself, Kuhneman bowled Shreyas Iyer (0) and gave the fifth blow to the Indian team. In this way, half of the Indian team had returned to the pavilion only on a total of 45 runs.
Australian spin trio rocked
There was definitely a 25-run partnership between Virat Kohli and KS Bharat for the sixth wicket, but here Kohli (22) was made a victim by Todd Murphy and after that the fall of wickets started again. KS Bharat (17), R Ashwin (3), Umesh Yadav (17) and Mohammad Siraj (0) returned to the pavilion in quick succession. In this way, the Indian team was dismissed after scoring just 109 runs in the second session of the very first day. Here all the wickets were taken by the Australian spin trio. Matthew Kuhneman got 5, Nathan Lyon got 3 and Todd Murphy got 2 wickets.
