Himachal Pradesh Ranji cricketer Siddharth Sharma passed away at Vadodara hospital after a brief illness.

Siddharth’s cricket career did not last long, but he had impressed everyone in his short career. He has taken 28 wickets in first class matches. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief after Siddharth’s death.

The news of Siddharth’s death has shocked Himachal as well as the entire country’s cricket. Talking on this issue, Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Secretary Avneesh Parmanar while talking to PTI said, “Everyone in the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association is deeply saddened. Siddharth left us on Thursday. He was on ventilator for the last few days. Siddharth was part of our team in the last match against Baroda.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over Siddharth’s death. He wrote on Twitter, “There is very sad news of the demise of Himachal’s Vijay Hazare Trophy winning team and the state’s star fast bowler Siddharth Sharma.” I pray to God to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the loved ones to bear this great sorrow.
