This is the fourth gold and 22nd medal overall at the Paris Paralympics 2024. The Indian athlete created history by winning the match in straight sets 28-24, 28-27, 29-25.

Harvinder Singh has now become the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal in an archery competition in the history of Paralympics. Earlier, he had also created a new record in the Tokyo Paralympics. At that time, he became the first archer to win a medal (bronze) for India in the Paralympics.
