Harsh is also one of the 12,000 employees who have been laid off by Google. He also told that the news of his retrenchment has been given to him through the mail sent by the operation center. When he got the mail of retrenchment, he was surprised.

Retrenchment done even after being a star performer

Harsh Vijayvargiya told that when he got the mail of retrenchment, he was very surprised because he had received the Star Performer Award. In such a situation, he has asked the question on LinkedIn that why has he been fired even after performing better? And there is no answer. Along with this, Harsh has written that for the last two months he was getting only half the salary. In such a situation, his financial planning was completely ruined. After this, he came to know on Saturday that he was fired by the company even after performing well. Along with this, Harsh wrote that now he will have to struggle once again to get a job.

Google laid off 12,000 employees

Due to the recession around the world, many big tech companies have laid off their employees. Google has fired its 12,000 employees. While retrenchment, the company’s CEO Sundar Pichai had said that this retrenchment has been done entirely on the basis of the performance of the employees. Along with this, he said that he takes full responsibility for this retrenchment and this decision has been taken for the betterment of the company.
