Glenn Maxwell on the alcohol incident: Glenn Maxwell played a century in the second T20 played against West Indies last Sunday (11 February). He said, “I knew I had that weekoff. And obviously that incident was less than ideal and the timing. But I had that weekoff. I knew I had that week off from the game. One “When I came back and did the running, the gym program and it felt very good and refreshing. And it was just about preparing myself for this T20 series.”
Rohit Sharma equalized by scoring a century against West Indies
In the second T20 played against West Indies, Maxwell scored 120* runs in 55 balls with the help of 12 fours and 8 sixes, in which his strike rate was 218.18. Batting first, with the help of Maxwell's brilliant innings, Australia put 241/4 runs on the board in 20 overs. This was Maxwell's fifth century in T20 International, with which he equaled Rohit Sharma.
Then the West Indies team, which came to chase the target, could reach only 207/9 runs in 20 overs. Captain Rovman Powell played a brilliant inning of 63 runs in 36 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes, but he was not successful in leading the team to victory.
