Ganeshotsav festival is considered incomplete without Modka

Ganeshotsav will begin on Saturday i.e. 7th September with Ganesh Chaturthi. This 10-day festival is celebrated with great pomp every year across the country. People make many preparations for this festival in advance. People install Ganpati Bappa at home, then serve him for ten days. During this time, many types of dishes are offered to Ganpati, but this festival is considered incomplete without modak. That is why Bappa is very fond of modak. In such a situation, if you want to take the blessings of Ganesh ji during this time and want to please him, then you can easily make modaks for him at home. Let us know the recipe for making delicious and easy Kesar Mawa Modak-

Material

1 1/2 cup crushed mawa
5 teaspoons powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon chopped pistachios
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Saffron
1 tablespoon warm milk

Method of preparation

• First of all, put warm milk and saffron in a small bowl, mix them well and keep it aside.
• – Now put mawa in a deep non-stick pan. – Cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring continuously.
• Then add the saffron-milk mixture and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes.
• – Spread the mawa mixture in a deep plate and keep it aside to cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
• After this, mash the mawa with your fingers and add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and pistachios to it.
• Then mix everything well and put it in the fridge for 10 minutes.
• – Now take a portion of the mawa mixture and place it on one side of the greased modka mould and close the modka mould tightly.
• Scrape off the excess modak mixture from the sides of the modak mould and take the modak out of the mould.
• – Now offer delicious and freshly prepared Kesar Mawa Modak to Lord Ganesha and then share the Prasad with everyone.
