Food and online delivery restricted in part of Delhi: The G20 summit will be held on 9 and 10 September at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A group of 19 countries and people from the European Union will participate in this summit. The summit will have the presence of many world leaders including big leaders such as US President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Apart from this, more than 10,000 delegates are expected to participate in this summit. Government of India has made strict security arrangements so that people coming in such a large number do not face any problem.
From traffic system, advisory has been issued for online platforms including rail, metro and buses. The government has imposed several restrictions on the movement of the general public around the venue and the hotels housing the guests. Along with this, the route has also been diverted. The government has also imposed restrictions on delivery persons and commercial delivery services will be affected from September 8 to September 10.

It is once again reiterated that although commercial activities remain banned on 8 to 10 Sep. but all essential services such as Mother Dairy/Safal booths, medical shops, hospitals etc. will remain functional in New Delhi area.

Here is advisory for Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon and Flipkart
Commercial delivery and cloud kitchens in NDMC area in Delhi will remain closed for 3 days during the summit. During this time the delivery of quick service companies like Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit and Zepto will also be affected. Apart from this, delivery of e-commerce companies like Flipkart and Amazon have also been banned.
Emergency services will remain open
During the press conference, Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) SS Yadav said that we cannot allow cloud kitchens and food delivery services, as well as internet delivery companies like Amazon and Flipkart, to operate in ‘containment zones’ Will go However, delivery of medicines and other essential items will continue in NDMC area.
