Pakistan Cricket Team: The entire cricket world is criticizing the Pakistan team because recently it had to face a 2-0 defeat in the Test series against Bangladesh at its home. It is also worth noting that in the last 7 Test series, the Pakistan team has been able to register victory in only one series. Now former cricketer Yasir Arafat has made fun of the Pakistan team and called all the players ‘jokers’.
On one hand, Yasir Arafat lashed out at the Pakistan team for their defeat against Bangladesh. Apart from this, he also did not spare the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He said that organising the Champions One Day Cup just before the important series against England which is to be played from 12-29 September is not a good decision at all. A week after that, a 3 Test match series is to start between Pakistan and England.
Team of jokers…
Yasir Arafat, while listing the shortcomings of the Pakistan team after the series defeat against Bangladesh, said, “Many problems have come up after the series against Bangladesh. Problems related to the fitness of the players and technical problems have also come up. I have heard that the Test team coach Jason Gillespie and the high performance coach are going back to Australia.”
Continuing his point, Yasir said, “In such a situation you are organizing a one-day tournament. Due to such decisions, I feel that PCB is like a circus, which is full of jokers. When the Test series against England is about to start in a few weeks, the one-day tournament is being organized. That is why I believe that the officials taking decisions are no less than jokers.”
