IPL 2024: Different types of incidents keep happening in the cricket world continuously. Now a case related to Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has come to light. An FIR has been lodged against KSCA at Cubbon Park Police Station, in which the association has been accused of serving stale food. This incident is said to be related to the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, which took place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, RCB had won by a huge margin of 47 runs.
RCB vs DC match took place at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, 12th May. In this, a 23-year-old man named Chaitanya has also accused the KSCA Management Board and the canteen manager of serving stale food. Chaitanya had reached the ground on 12 May with his friend Gautam to watch the Bengaluru vs Delhi match. During the match, both the friends ate gulab jamun, rice and many other things at the canteen. In this complaint made to the police, Chaitanya has claimed that he started having stomach pain shortly after eating food.
Chaitanya had become unconscious while sitting due to eating stale food. He was given first-aid facilities and an ambulance was made available outside the ground. When he was admitted to a private hospital, investigation revealed that he had food poisoning. It is being claimed that Chaitanya's condition has deteriorated due to eating food in the canteen. On this matter, Cubbon Park Police Station also said that a case has been registered against the management of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and the canteen manager.
