Rishabh Pant’s absence David Warner is captaining the team in
Earlier this season, the Delhi Capitals team suffered a major setback when Rishabh Pant was ruled out due to a bad injury during a car accident, in which case the team had to take a decision to appoint a new captain. David Warner has the experience of captaining in IPL before and that is why it was very easy for the team to decide to hand over this responsibility to him.
Earlier, when David Warner was a part of the team from 2009 to 2013, he got a chance to captain the Delhi Capitals team for a few matches. After this, after joining the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, in the year 2016, Warner played an important role in helping the team win the title under his captaincy.
