How To Make Career In Event Management: After 12th, if you want to make a career in the field of event management, then first gather complete information about this field. After entering any field, it is of no use to think whether a wrong choice has been made. Research is necessary before entry. As it is clear from the name itself, organizing any small or big event comes under event management. The event manager is responsible for every small and big thing related to that event.
However, many times while giving a project or event, the clients do not hand over all the work to the event manager and get them completed through different experts. Under this, the responsibility of organizing a press conference, wedding, birthday party or any other gathering has to be taken up.

To enter this field, candidates have options of many courses like Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate from which they can choose. Eligibility, fees, institute, entrance exam are all different for each course. The course fees can range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 5 lakh and after completion of the course, one can earn from Rs 3 to 50 lakh in a year. It depends on many issues like your experience, the name of your company or the brand of the company you work for.

Students of any stream can apply to go into this field. According to the bus course, the candidate must have 10+2 pass, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. It depends on the entrance exam and sometimes the institute how many marks are asked in the previous class i.e. what is the eligibility.

Event managers have many jobs in India. Like Wedding Planner, Event Coordinator, Event Planner, Director of Events etc. If you want to do UG course then you can do BBA in event management. If you want to do PG course then you can do MBA in event management course. Along with this Diploma of Event Management can also be done.
where is the institute
For admission in these courses, many times the institutes conduct their own entrance test, then in many places admission is given on the basis of CAT, MAT, JAT, GMAT, GRE (for PG courses). At the same time, in many places, for UG courses, CUCET, DSAT, BOOMAT etc. are given through exams. Courses can be done from University of Mumbai, APJ Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi etc.
