Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth, also a 1987 batch IAS officer, is an important member of the Finance Minister’s budget team. All budget data is being collected under them. Apart from the budget, Ajay Seth also has the responsibility of co-chairing the G20 central bank and finance minister’s meetings.
