Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz settle wedding lawsuits

Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have reportedly settled the lawsuit brought against them by wedding planners after their April 2022 nuptials.

“The parties believe that this contract dispute between Nelson Peltz and Plan Design should be resolved on the terms agreed,” wedding planners Arianna Grijalba and Nicole Braghin of Plan Design Events said in a statement to People.

“As part of the settlement, PDE will make a donation in the name of Nicola and Brooklyn to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund.”

The statement concluded, “PDE wishes Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham happiness and a fruitful life together.”

The outlet reports that both the initial and counterclaims have been “dismissed with prejudice.”

Page Six has reached out to reps for both Nicola and Beckham but did not immediately hear back.

In December 2022, the “Bates Motel” alum’s father, Nelson, filed a lawsuit against Grijalba and Braghin, alleging that they refused to refund the $159,000 deposit he paid them for his daughter’s nuptials.

In the suit, the billionaire businessman, 81, claimed the wedding planners could not handle the expectations of the star-studded guest list, which “included more than five hundred people, including numerous celebrities, athletes, dignitaries and other influential individuals, who traveled from all around the globe to attend.”

The lawsuit also stated that Grijalba and Braghin amplified their abilities to handle a wedding of that magnitude.

“[Nelson] Peltz had presented them with the opportunity of a lifetime — to have their names associated with the wedding of two world-famous celebrities, which would undoubtedly propel [Plan Design Events] into wedding planning stardom,” the filing read.

“In reality, however, it later became clear that PDE viewed this as an opportunity to take advantage of Peltz by making material misrepresentations on both their website and in person regarding their experience, expertise, and capability of planning the wedding.”

In February 2023, Grijalba and Braghin filed a countersuit against the Peltz family — including Nicola’s mom, Claudia Peltz — alleging that they made difficult demands with short notice and had poor communication skills.

Wedding designer Rishi Patel was also named in the lawsuit along with Nicola, Nelson and Claudia.

In the countersuit, the wedding planners claimed the “Last Airbender” star, 28, was “too busy” to speak on the phone and mostly communicated with them via text.

“This is not what I asked for. I ASKED FOR OUR INVITE LIST. IN. VITE. NOT. RSVP. Can u manage to send that to me,” read one alleged message from Nicola.

The following month, Nelson slammed the Grijalba and Braghin’s claims in a filing, calling the countersuit a “good old fashion shakedown” and “a desperate effort to distract from their own failure to accomplish anything of substance.”
