Ashneer Grover tweeted from the Twitter handle that his wife is one of the top female taxpayers in the country. Madhuri Jain has deposited a total advance tax of Rs 2.84 crore for the financial year 2022-23. Along with this, he also said that Madhuri Jain has earned this money by investing in startups.

Ashneer Grover said in his tweet on March 15 that Madhuri Jain Grover is one of the highest tax paying women in the country. He has deposited advance tax of Rs 2.84 crore in this financial year. We should appreciate such honest taxpayers.

Many allegations were leveled against Ashneer Grover and his wife

Ashneer Grover and his wife had to resign from all positions in Bharat Pay last year after they were accused of misappropriating company funds. Along with this, Pay of India had accused Ashneer Grover’s family that his family has used the company’s funds for their personal work by making fake bills. The company has accused him of misusing Rs 88 crore.

Apart from Madhuri Jain Grover, Ashneer Grover had deposited a total tax of Rs 7.1 crore in March 2022 assessment year 2022-23. At the same time, his wife had deposited a total advance tax of Rs 1.1 crore in the assessment year 2022-23.
