Bangladesh’s tour of India will start from August 19, where 2 Tests and 3 T20 matches will be played between the two teams. Now a new report has surfaced, which reveals that the BCCI may announce the team after the first round of matches in the Duleep Trophy 2024.

According to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, after the first round of Duleep Trophy matches are over, BCCI can announce the Test team against Bangladesh. Let us tell you that the first round of Duleep Trophy matches are to be played from 5-8 September. The players who will be selected will be a part of a training camp in Chennai on 12 September in view of the preparation for the series against Bangladesh.

Talking about the Duleep Trophy, except Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin, all other regular members of the team will be seen playing in this upcoming trophy. Shubman Gill will be captaining India A, Rituraj Gaikwad will be captaining India C and Shreyas Iyer will be captaining India D team. At the same time, the command of India B has been handed over to Abhimanyu Easwaran.
