Bam Margera’s estranged wife Nicole Boyd slams claim she’s keeping him from son

Bam Margera’s estranged wife, Nicole Boyd, is firing back at his claim that she’s keeping him from seeing their son.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, the former “Jackass” star asked a judge to set an earlier court hearing in their legal separation case — which is currently scheduled for July 11 — because Boyd is allegedly not allowing him to spend time with 5-year-old Phoenix.

The model responded in documents of her own, claiming there’s no reason to move up the hearing because she’s abiding by the current custody orders.

Boyd claims Margera is able to spend time with their child, per TMZ, as long as he’s in California and sober.

“Mr. Margera continues to claim to be the ‘injured’ party because he isn’t seeing Phoenix — even though he placed himself 3,000 miles away after exposing the child to abuse and drug/alcohol abuse,” her attorney told the outlet.

Margera also filed to dismiss Boyd’s request for a legal separation, as he insists they “have never been married, legally or otherwise.”

“To my knowledge, Boyd has never legally changed her name in any state to ‘Nicole Margera,’” he told the court. “Every driver’s license or other form of identification I have seen Boyd possess bears the name ‘Nicole Boyd.’”

The pair had a matrimonial ceremony in Reykjavik, Iceland, in October 2013, which was featured in a since-deleted video on the MTV personality’s YouTube channel.

It’s unclear whether the duo ever got a marriage license in the United States. Page Six was unable to locate the record.

She still goes by Nicole Boyd Margera on Instagram, and her bio still reads, “Proud wife @bam__margera and momma bear.”

Boyd filed for legal separation in Los Angeles in February, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She requested legal and physical custody of Phoenix as well as spousal support.

It was later revealed that the influencer “made the hard choice to protect herself and their son” because she had concerns about the stuntman’s behavior around Phoenix.

Boyd’s attorney claimed that she observed Margera acting “inappropriately” while interacting with their son.

She believed he was under the influence, though he reportedly claimed to be sober at the time.

Last month, Margera — who’s been in and out of rehab for over a decade, including numerous stints last year — swore off drinking and blasted his brother for making “false accusations of me being on meth.”
