Bajrang Punia WFI: The meeting between India’s star wrestlers Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and the Union Sports Ministry is over. After this meeting, Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat held a press conference and informed about the talks with the government. In a conversation with journalists, Bajrang clearly said that we do not want the resignation of only WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan. We want that the federation should be dissolved, if there is only resignation, then it will make its men sit again.

Bajrang demanded dissolution of the federation
The meeting between the wrestlers of India and the officials of the Sports Ministry is over. A delegation of four people took part on behalf of the wrestlers. In which Bajrang Punia was also included. In the press conference after this meeting, Bajrang Punia said that ‘the whole hub of wrestling is sitting with us and everyone is fighting for their future. We have five to six girls with evidence, who are accused. If our words are not heard, then we will take the help of the police and also file a case. We don’t just want resignation. We want the federation to be dissolved, if there is only resignation, then it will put its men again.

Vinesh said- ‘If we were forced…’
At the same time, in this press conference, Vinesh Phogat said that ‘It is our misfortune that a satisfactory answer has not been received yet. We should not be forced to come forward. If we are forced, then it will be the misfortune of the country that the victimized girls will come in front of the media and keep their point. It is expected from the PM that he should not be forced so much that the players have to see black days. It is not about the resignation of the Speaker. We will take his resignation only. We will keep sending them to jail as well. The Speaker should come in front of me and look into his eyes and say that he has not done anything wrong. Due to exploitation, the wrestling of women players of UP has come to an end. Now his eyes are on the girls of Maharashtra and Kerala.

Important meeting will be held on 22 January
The Annual General Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Wrestling Federation of India will now be held on January 22 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President of Mahasambh will also participate in the meeting. According to media reports, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh can announce his resignation in this meeting.
