Bajrang Punia Brijbhushan Singh Controversy: The sit-in demonstration of many wrestlers including Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat continues for the second day. Meanwhile, Bajrang Punia has made a big claim about Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President of the Indian Wrestling Federation. Bajrang says that Brij Bhushan Singh can run away abroad. Vinesh Phogat accused the Wrestling Federation of mentally torturing her on Wednesday, the first day of the strike. Along with this, he has also made a serious allegation of sexual harassment.
On Thursday, the second day of the dharna, Bajrang said, if we can fight for the country, we can fight for ourselves as well. Our fight is non political. All the players are with us. We will not bow down. We do not need any politician. We can fight for ourselves.
Indian wrestlers are protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Champion wrestler Babita Phogat has reached the place of protest. He tweeted and said, “I stand with all my fellow players in this matter of wrestling. I assure all of you that I will work to raise this issue with the government at every level and the future will be decided according to the feelings of the players.
Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Singh has reacted to the allegations leveled against him. He has denied all the allegations leveled against him. He said that if the allegations against me are proved true, then he will be hanged. Brij Bhushan Singh says that there is a conspiracy against me. He has said that 97 percent players are standing with the Federation.
Olympian Vinesh has alleged that women wrestlers are tortured mentally and physically. Accusing Brij Bhushan Singh, he said that women wrestlers are sexually abused in the National Camp in Lucknow. Along with Vinesh, many wrestlers including Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik are present at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
