Watch Axar Patel completes half century with 2 sixes and 1 four in the 2nd match of India C vs India D in Duleep Trophy 2024

Axar Patel Fifty Duleep Trophy 2024: Duleep Trophy 2024 has started. Two matches are being played in the Duleep Trophy which started today i.e. 05 September, Thursday, in which the second match is being played between India C and India D. In this match, there was a brilliant batting from Axar Patel. Axar Patel, playing for India D captained by Shreyas Iyer, completed his half-century in a very special way, the video of which was shared by BCCI.

Akshar played the biggest innings for the team and scored 86 runs in 118 balls with the help of 6 fours and 6 sixes. Akshar completed his half-century by hitting 2 sixes and 1 four in three balls. Akshar was batting after scoring 37 runs in 74 balls. He took Manav Suthar on remand who came to bowl and hit a six on the very first ball. Then Akshar hit a four on the next ball. The next ball went for a four via leg bye and then Akshar completed his half-century by hitting a six on the next ball.

Apart from Akshar, all the batsmen flopped

While Akshar Patel played a brilliant innings for India D, all the other batsmen of the team flopped badly. Batting first in the match, India D, captained by Shreyas Iyer, was all out at 164 runs, in which Akshar Patel contributed 86 runs.

After Akshar, the biggest innings for the team were by Saransh Jain and Srikar Bharat. Both the batsmen scored 13 runs each. A total of 6 batsmen of the team could not even cross the double digit mark, in which 3 batsmen could not even open their account.

During this period, Vijaykumar Vaishya took the maximum of 3 wickets for India C. Rest Anshul Kamboj and Himanshu Chauhan took 2-2 wickets each. Apart from this, Manav Suthar and Hrithik Shaukeen got 1-1 success.
