The 3 players who did not get a place in this team of Australia, which won the ODI World Cup title 5 times, include the names of fast bowler Aaron Hardy, all-rounder Nathan Ellis and Indian-origin spinner Tanveer Sangha. Apart from this, when the 18-member team was announced, it was a shocking decision for everyone not to find a place in Marnus Labuschagne, who has not been included in this 15-member team as well.
Australia has given place to 4 fast bowlers in their ODI World Cup team, which includes the names of Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Sean Abbott apart from captain Pat Cummins. Apart from this, Glenn Maxwell has got a place in the team as the 1st spin all-rounder. At the same time, 2 spinners Ashton Egger and Adam Jampa have been included.
Australia will play 3 ODI series against India before the World Cup
Before the World Cup, the Australian team will also get a chance to play a 3-match ODI series against India. Through this series, he will be able to test the preparations of his team in a better way. These ODIs between India and Australia will be played on 22, 24 and 27 September. At the same time, Australia’s first match in the World Cup will be against India on 8 October.
