Travis Head world records: The Australian cricket team is on a tour of Scotland for a three-match T20 series. The first match of the series was a great one, in which Australia chased the target and won by scoring 155 runs in 58 balls. In the match, Travis Head scored 80 runs in 25 balls for Australia at a strike rate of 320, which included 12 fours and 05 sixes. With this innings, Head set a world record.
Head scored the first 73 runs (22 balls) in his innings within the powerplay, with which he made the record for the highest individual score within the powerplay in a T20 International match. Earlier this record was in the name of Ireland's Paul Stirling. Stirling scored 67 runs in 25 balls within the powerplay of a match played against West Indies in 2020.
Australia made the highest score in power play
Australia set a world record for the highest score in the powerplay of T20 International. Australia scored 113/1 in the powerplay in the match against Scotland. Earlier this record was in the name of South Africa, who scored 102/0 while playing against West Indies in 2023.
