They’re ready to break free.
Ariana Grande filed for divorce from her husband, Dalton Gomez, on Monday after just two years of marriage, according to TMZ.
The pop star cited “irreconcilable differences.”
The outlet reported that Gomez filed his own divorce petition almost simultaneously.
Their date of separation was listed as Feb. 20, 2023.
Sources told TMZ the exes worked everything out before going to the courthouse and that Grande will write Gomez a check.
They had a prenuptial agreement in place.
Page Six confirmed on July 17 that Grande, 30, and Gomez, 27, had separated, with a source telling us at the time, “They came to the decision together. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”
The news came after the “Thank U, Next” singer was spotted without her wedding ring while attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London.
We later reported that the luxury real estate agent had visited Grande across the pond on the set of the “Wicked” movie in a last-ditch attempt to save their marriage, but “it didn’t work out.”

“They’ve been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them,” a source shared.
The pair, who were first romantically linked in early 2020 during the pandemic, reportedly hit turbulence in their relationship when COVID-19 restrictions were lifted and Gomez was “taken aback” by Grande’s demanding schedule.
Sources told TMZ that “differences” in the couple’s lifestyles led to them growing apart, and things became all the more difficult when Grande went to London to film “Wicked.”

The “Save Your Tears” vocalist’s fame also took a toll on their marriage, as Gomez reportedly could not handle the constant paparazzi attention. He has since been dating other people for months, according to the outlet.
The last time Grande was spotted sporting her wedding ring in public was in April when she attended Jeff Goldblum’s concert in London.
And in May, the pop star shared a PDA-filled tribute to her husband to celebrate their second wedding anniversary, which she later deleted.

A divorce attorney told Page Six exclusively that their prenup “almost certainly protects all assets and income that either of them had prior to the marriage.” There will also most likely be a very “limited” division of assets because the union was brief.

While Grande has a reported net worth of $240 million, Gomez was well-off prior to tying the knot with her due to his successful career as a high-end real estate broker.

Grande and Gomez secretly wed in May 2021 at her Montecito, Calif., home, just six months after he popped the question by presenting her with a special pearl and diamond ring.
The “Victorious” alum had initially kept their relationship quite private, but she took their love public in May 2020 when he appeared by her side in her “Stuck With U” music video alongside Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber.
Grande was previously engaged to Pete Davidson, but they broke up in October 2018 after just five months together.
