Shark Tank India Season-2: All the judges running the business reality show Shark Tank India have suffered huge losses. There has been a huge decline in the wealth of these people who fund lakhs to crores of rupees every day. Although how can this happen, but this claim has been made in a post on LinkedIn.

Except Aman Gupta, everyone else incurred losses

It has been said in the post that except for the founder of the boat, Aman Gupta, all the judges have suffered heavy losses. All Shark Tank India Judges include Vinita Singh, Ghazal Alagh, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Ashneer Grover, Piyush Bansal and Amit Jain. Users say that on the one hand they are funding others for business and on the other hand their company itself is running at a loss.

Entrepreneur and marketer Ankit Uttam has analyzed both the first and second season of Shark Tank in his LinkedIn post. Along with this, the profits and losses of the judges have also been enumerated. He has written in his post that all the judges of Shark Tank of US version also run their own business and they earn profits, but the judges of this show of India version are facing huge losses.

How much damage was done to which sharks in Shark Tank?

Vinita Singh’s sugar cosmetic SUGAR Cosmetics has incurred a loss of Rs 75 crore in FY 2022, while during FY 2021 they had to bear a loss of Rs 21.1 crore.

Ghazal Alagh’s Mamaearth earned a profit of Rs 14.44 crore for the first time in FY2022. In the financial year 2021, they had a loss of 1,332. Similarly, during the financial year 2020, a loss of 428 crores had to be suffered. However, during the first half of the financial year, Mamaearth has registered a total profit of 4 crores. The surprising thing is that after the maximum profit of only Rs 14.44 crore, the company is going to bring IPO at a valuation of Rs 24000 crore.

BharatPe’s total loss in FY 2022 is 5,594 crores. At the same time, the total loss in FY 2021 is Rs 2,961 crore. Ashneer Grover has recently left BharatPe, but has faced losses as his CEO.

Apart from Shaadi.com, Anupam Mittal is also the owner of Makaan .com, Mauj Mobile. Except Shaadi.com, none of their business is making money. There is no complete information about the financial condition of Shaadi.com. Although its IPO may come in the future.

Piyush Bansal’s Lenskart has suffered heavy losses. In FY22, it incurred a loss of Rs 102.3 crore.

The most surprising thing has been told on Namita Thapar. Namita Thapar is not the founder of Emcure Pharma. His father started this company and he is still the CEO of this company.

CarDekho of Amit Jain, who became a judge in season-2, has suffered a loss of 246.5 crores during the financial year 2021-22.

Aman Gupta’s boat is the only company which has registered profits.
