Devdutt Padikkal's debut in India playing 11, Akash Deep and Rajat Patidar dismissed Jasprit Bumrah in the 5th test.

India vs England 5th Test: The fifth and final match of the Test series being played between India and England is to be played in Dharamshala from March 7. At present the Indian team is leading 3-1 in this series. The Indian Cricket Board has announced the squad of Team India for the fifth test. In such a situation, know here how India's playing eleven could be in the Dharamshala Test.

Vice-captain and star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has returned to Team India for the fifth Test. Senior middle order batsman KL Rahul has also been ruled out of the fifth test. Young Devdutt Padikkal remains in the team. However, Washington Sundar has been released to play the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy, but if needed, he can be called back into the team.

Will Rajat Patidar and Akash Deep be out of the playing eleven?

Fast bowler Akash Deep, who made his dream debut in the fourth Test, is finding it difficult to get a place in the playing eleven in the fifth Test. Due to Bumrah's return, Akash Deep may have to sit on the bench. However, the team management can rest Mohammad Siraj in the fifth test. In such a situation, Bumrah may return in place of Siraj. Apart from this, Rajat Patidar, who has flopped in three consecutive tests, can also be shown the way out. In his place, Devdutt Padikkal or Akshar Patel can enter the final eleven.

Will India field with three spinners and two fast bowlers?

Team India can also field in Dharamshala with two fast bowlers and three spinners. In such a situation, two fast bowlers in Akash Deep, Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah can be a part of the playing eleven. Bumrah is the vice-captain, so only one Siraj or Akash is sure to get a chance. Whereas among the spinners, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are confirmed to be in the playing eleven.

Team India's probable playing eleven for the fifth test – Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar/Devdutt Padikkal, Ravindra Jadeja, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj/ Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah.
