2000 Rupee Note Rules Do Not Levy Any Service Charges By These Banks

2000 Rupees Note Change Rule: The Reserve Bank of India has decided to withdraw Rs 2,000 notes. In such a situation, many banks have issued some guidelines regarding the exchange of 2000 rupee notes. You can go to any bank and get the 2000 rupee note changed. RBI has said that these notes will continue to be legal tender. RBI has appealed to deposit or exchange these notes in banks.

The monthly limit and deposit amount limit is fixed by the bank and service charge is levied if it is exceeded. As far as depositing Rs 2,000 note is concerned, it seems that it depends on the banks whether they charge such a fee or not. ICICI Bank

Senior citizens can exchange 2000 rupee notes through doorstep service. 2 thousand rupees notes can be changed in any branch of this bank or from the cash deposit machine. Here you will not be charged any kind of charge. The bank said that it can be changed without any restriction and as per the existing KYC rules.

Canara Bank

If you go here to exchange or deposit 2000 rupee notes, then you will not be charged any kind of service charge. The bank has announced a discount of up to 100 percent.

Punjab National Bank

This bank is not taking any kind of charge for exchange or deposit of 2000 rupee note. Also, it is not asking to submit Aadhaar and PAN card or any other document. The bank said that you have not been asked to fill any form for depositing this amount.

HDFC bank

The leading private sector bank announced that customers can go to any branch and exchange Rs 2,000 notes, for which there is no charge.

SBI Bank

The largest bank said that customers can easily exchange Rs 2,000 notes in the bank till September 30, for which no documents are required to be submitted.
